Once you've successfully logged in, you'll welcomed to your projects page. This is your personal creative hub where all your projects live. Since we're creating your first project together, the page will be empty, but not for long!
Let's get to the fun part!
To get started with creating your own collection, you'll be given a variety of options to create your project, namely One of Ones, Generative, Metadata, and IPFS.
One of Ones: Ideal for individual pieces of art. Choose this option if you want to upload a folder containing the images for each separate NFT you wish to create.
Generative: Suitable for creating a collection of NFTs with variations. In this case, upload a folder of different asset image layers (such as backgrounds, characters, accessories), and our platform will randomly combine these layers to create unique, generative NFTs.
Metadata: This feature is usually used by collections that have their own metadata already built. Simply plug in your metadata along with your assets and we'll set up everything else for you!
IPFS: If you've already got your IPFS ready, simply plug it in and you'll be good to go!
This is where you'll need to fill in some important details about your new NFT collection:
Project Name: This is the name of your project as it will appear in our database and on your projects page. Make it something memorable that you'll easily recognize.
Symbol: This will be the collection symbol for your NFT collection. This will reflect on your smart contract. It's a short form of your collection name, so make it catchy!
Description: Here you can describe your collection in a few words. This description will appear across all platforms when your collection is launched.
Some collections would ask you to fill up other fields. Here are the other fields that's needed per collection.
Files (Generative Projects): Towards the latter part of generative collections, you'll be asked to upload a folder, please see the File/Folder Structuring guide for an in-depth explanation on how the folder should look like. You could also click the (follow this format) text on top of the upload field to download a zip file of a sample folder.
IPFS CID and Supply (IPFS Projects): When creating an IPFS project, you'll need to indicate both the CID and the amount of NFTs your collection has.
Take your time to fill in these fields. Once you're done, you're ready for the next exciting step in your NFT creation journey!
